Townsville police and ambo frequencies

Unlike some other sources may say townsville area qps freq is 469.315MHz, ive confirmed this.

Also ambos are 460.640

Technically, 469.315 MHz is not a valid frequency.

The only frequencies in that segment of the Band are 469.3000, 469.3125, and 469.3250 MHz.

As for the Link frequency:-

Prior to Feb 2011, when that Link was licensed, the frequencies were in 25 kHz Steps, so possible frequencies were 460.625, 460.650, and 460.675 MHz, so a frequency of 460.640 MHz is not valid.

Since Feb 2011, the Step is now 12.5 kHz, and the Base frequency changed, resulting in one of the available frequencies being 460.64375 MHz. QAS has probably re-tuned their Link equipment in accordance with the NEW frequency plan, as they are required to do, and the ACMA Database just hasn't caught up yet.

I can't hear a thing on most of the frequencies listed for the QPS in Townsville. I am wondering if they went full digital and scrambled. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Just a quick lookup on the ACMA for the Townsville area (within 30km radius) reveals the following QPS frequencies between 467.5000-470.0000Mhz.
There appears to be four frequencies set aside for P25 operations (which i suspect would be encrypted).
Let us know what you can hear.

467.5375 - Castle Hill
468.6500 - Castle Hill
468.9500 - Castle Hill - P25
469.1750 - Kelso
469.2250 - Mt Stuart - P25
469.2500 - Castle Hill
469.3500 - Pallerenda
469.4750 - Kelso
469.5000 - Kirwan
469.5250 - Bowling Green Bay
469.5500 - Castle Hill
469.5750 - Mt Stuart
469.6750 - South Townsville
469.7000 - Magnetic Island
469.8750 - Castle Hill - P25

Maybe you can tell us if the Frequencies "blacktown" posted are ACTIVE. I suspect they are, because they are the new allocations, but if you do try them/hear them, let us all know if they work! The forum would appreciate this!
