NEWS- Shooting-Stabbing Coolum Beach

lots of recent radio chatter police and ambos. Person stabbed in premises and person shot on footpath outside residence. large section of coolum-yandina road now closed preserving scene. missed the initial call so unable to ascertain original circumstances

Police are currently investigating an incident that occurred overnight at Coolum Beach.
Officers were called to a residence around 10pm following reports of a disturbance.
A man was injured when an officer discharged his firearm and he is currently in a serious condition in Nambour Hospital.

A man and a woman were also found deceased at the scene.
Ethical Standards Command have been advised and investigations are continuing.

I was listening in at work on CH50 last night about 5-10 mins after it happened, but I also missed the initial call

I listened to the whole thing today, has to be one of the calmest shootings I've heard in a while
