Night wireless crew Qps call sign

Hi guys listening in on the Logan Chanel this morning I heard a single person book on under the call sign "night wireless" does anyone know what that crew does ?

Even though it sounds like Night Wireless, I believe the correct term is Night Weilers (a bit like rottweilers).

The night wireless crew is old school, Plain Clothes or CIB officers doing night work.
