Just wondering what folk up this way listen to other than QAS/QPS/QFRS

I've had the handheld scanning around different bands looking for something different to listen too.

Anything else interesting around this area??

Small Aircraft into Redcliffe/Caboolture/Caloundra Aerodromes 118.800
Woodford Prison
Brisbane Ports and Piloting(channel 12 156.600 and channel 10 156.500 Marine VHF)
Water Police and Marine rescue on channel 63(160.775)
You should be able to pick up the surf lifesavers also

Couple there I didn't have....

Been on the outside for a while and have just got a BCT8. Although I have had Handhelds for some 20years never had a desktop unit. Using the ARC8 software to do the programming. the BCT8SS is very limited and from what I have read not woth getting the licence key for it. What is your thoughts on this.

listen mainly QPS,QAS,POB. Using a Discon 864 and a small marine whip.
Also have 3 other handhelds scanners and 4 Puxing 777 460-520Mhz 1 being the VHF Marine. I find they are great being able to progran them up to what ever you want.

the T8 can come in handy as you are able to use computer software that can control your scanner the likes of MPT Trunking which i know there are a few sites around the Sunshine Coast area as for listening to QPS and QAS they are good but what is POB
