Ambulance cover of SA?

Post by Stretch »

Sorry to bring you bad news.

From what I can tell (from the tiny bit of research I've done) is if it was considered emergency treatment you may be covered under your private health insurance (if you have any). But then if you got transferred you're no longer covered.

If you don't have private health insurance or you cover doesn't include ambulance cover (check with them) it will be $700 from the looks of it and then an extra $170 if you got transported to another hospital.

Hope all is well and welcome to the forums
