QAS Comms to A&E

Post by rochedalescan »

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knew, I was listening to QAS and heard them talking to A&E in regards to a patient coming in.
What sort of technology do the hospital have to communicate with the ambulance ? Is it some sort of phone patch link or something like that ?

Cheers Shane

In NZ when we were coming in with a mod to serious patient, we radioed ahead to the A&E to inform them the age of patient, sex of patient, some vitals and mechanism of the injury. That way it gave the hospital the heads up.

Mt Persevance (Ipswich) ? ? ?

Mt Perseverance is North of Withcott (at the foot of the Range), and serves the Lockyer Valley.
412.850 is supposed to be on Flinders Peak, which is roughly South of Ipswich.
