was wondering if anyone knows as to why the training channel 1701- 1702 for VICPOL has been extremely quiet for months on end?
Does anyone know when the channel is most active?

Don't believe it has any definite active period.

Also sometimes their TG will only be active off a particular site and not system wide, meaning that just because you're not hearing them via one MMR site your monitoring off your mate monitoring via another site might actually have them active.

Thanks for your help... I have been monitoring the TGID the past week and it has been active however at different times of the day usually at 4:30pm till around 9PM
Also thanks it’s been awhile since I have been on

You're right, it was fairly active this week.
There was a rather prolonged period on Melbourne Cup Day in the afternoon when it was active with some training.
