Queensland GWN transmit frequencies

Hey guys,
I’m wondering what the transmit frequencies for the Queensland GWN are.

The Radioreference database shows the band plan is between 416.4625 and 420.000 MHz and has a truckload of control frequencies between 420 and 424 MHz but I don’t think it shows transmit frequencies. And yes I know the GWN is digital P25 and encrypted - I’m just interested in knowing what the transmit frequencies are.

ALL the frequencies shown are Transmit frequencies.

The frequencies shown in Red or Blue are the Control Channels. The others are the Traffic Channels (where the actual conversations take place).

are you asking for the transmit frequencies of car/handheld radios ie uplink to repeater ?

, or tx from repeaters ?

Uplink frequencies are around 426mhz ,
Tx from repeaters are slightly lower

Just to clarify, there is no such thing as repeater uplink frequencies. The correct terminology is:

BTX - Base Transmit and BRX - Base Receive. Also MTX - Mobile Transmit and MRX - Mobile Receive.

There is a relationship in that BTX = MRX and BRX = MTX. It would make life easier particularly when talking about repeaters to use BTX/BRX. Most scanner users are only concerned with BTX frequencies.

When talking simplex, use MTX/MRX. Even though the frequencies are the same.

Also don't fall for the myth that BRX frequencies are not encrypted, they are. I have in my time heard many stories about how encryption can be beaten by listening on the BRX frequencies. The people conveying this information should start by saying "Once upon a time..."
