Cab Network Radio Codes

I've been tuned into some Yellow Cabs channels of late, and noted they have some radio codes. (All beginning with A). A19, A13, A30 are examples of what i've heard communicated. I imagine the reasons are for things such as fare evasion, taxi being attacked, people not turning up for their ride, etc etc.

Does anyone happen to have a full list of the radio codes? I've done a search myself, but failed to locate any. From what I gather, the cab drivers have a handbook which includes a whole list of them.

Would it be asking too much to possibly get a copy of all the codes? Or is there too many ? Could you possibly scan the page or even upload it to an excel document?

A31 is for emergency to be called of
A44 is there could be an emergency

there the main ones

most other ones of the top of my head are just like
A19 no fare at address
A23 or something is dirty car
silly stuff like that

462.1125 is received up here in Highfields - dispatch controller (I can't hear the drivers except in Toowoomba). The Taxi radio controller in BNE covers a big area and the grief he gets from some drivers is unbelievable. I have heard code A13 a few times during which he asks everyone else to clear the channel. The operator/dispatchers appear to have been there a long time and have extensive knowledge of the areas. I wonder if they get paid well?

The voice quality of the control is very clear and I often wonder why it is generally better than VKR TWB control

I guess it might be because the Taxi industry is profit driven and can afford the best radio & GPS equipment.

a25 = passenger. ie I have 4 a25's on board... Or I am a25 (have a passenger)
a15 - No job - ie cab rocked up but noone there even after waiting 6 minutes
a35 - Job cancelled - Cab rocked up, spoke with passenger. Passenger decided they didn't want a cab anymore.
a13 - Driver being attacked by passenger in a physical way
a18 - Visually impaired (blind driver --- No I mean passenger). If visually impaired you have to go collect them at the door (ie knock on door)
a31 - Driver now safe
a44 - Driver is worried that he may be attacked. Base should monitor him until a44 is clear.
a45 - Passenger has fallen asleep and can't be woken by yelling, loud radio - Need another driver there to observe as passenger is being woken up / groped by hand or baseball bat or filling mouth with shaving cream.
a19 - Abusive / drunk / no money fare at a pickup location or even on board - Also used to warn other drivers to avoid that abusive / drunk / no money fare. ie There is an a19 fare at the wynnum hotel / valley rank
a10 - Call orange cabs via telephone
a100 - My vehicle is broken down or as some drivers use it because they don't wanna do the fare LOL... base gps checks car and sees it doing 120 kph down airport drive (broken down)
a66 - I was at a rank when I got the radio job and just as I pressed the accept button a fare jumped in - Please take back the job and give it to another driver. You'll hear a lot of drivers do this when the fare wasn't at the rank but orange cabs can easily gps the driver and see if he was near a rank. Sometimes you'll hear an a66 5 minutes into the booking (ie driver has had the booking 5 mins but decides he doesn't want it and tries to hand it back)
M50 booking = maxi taxi wheelchair booking

There are also codes for a price quote and a few other things but I forgot the codes. I think an a60 is price quote (about 80% sure although it might be a70)
There is also a code for you were busted smoking in the cab and also dirty cab. Not sure of the codes though.

Recall = hand back job
cleared to plot priority = no job cleared - You are now #1 in the line...


463.350 is northside Brisbane channel (used to be 462.850) until they upgraded the mdt to the new mtdata system
Not sure of the southside voice channel.. It used to be 462.550 in Brisbane

In Sydney they use the prefix "M" but otherwise the same or very similar
