hello there.I am in Auckland and i have a Kenwood TS-2000 and have just bought an AR-DV1.
Is my first time doing Digital vioce

I passed through Auckland on a cruise boat with an analogue scanner late last year and noted DMR signals (they have a distinctive sound) on VHF 150-155Mhz and UHF 413-420Mhz. You should find some DMR there. There is also a lot of encrypted P25 between 490-505Mhz

I am waiting for a bnc to Pl259 adapter as the radio only has an internal antenna at the moment but rxing two lots of DMR between 425mhz and 419mhz and i can almost hear some 70m dstar.
I havent hooked up the discriminator output yet because i need a longer patch lead.
