Discriminator tap on AL-924 | Can I rx ACARS via pager?

Has anyone fit a discriminator tap to an AL-924 pager by any chance? I have a number of them and want to use two of them for dedicated PDW stations.

Also, does anyone know if ACARS can be received via discriminator tap through a pager, does the pager filter it out or is it dependent on the chip?
HDSDR/SDR Sharp via Elonics chipset
Puxing 777 (UHF)
Pagers: RT760, 4x AL924's, 2X AL-A25's

It's not ideal. ACARS is transmitted in AM. A pager contains an FM receiver.
