FYI, Station staffing are as follows

311 Kitchener Street (Toowoomba) - Permanent
312 Anzac Avenue (Toowoomba) - Permanent and Auxiliary - Permanent 24x7, Auxiliary backup for Permanents.
321 Warwick - Permanent and Auxiliary. Permanents only staff Monday to Friday business hours, and are on call after
hours to backup the Auxiliary Crew who are first called after hours.

All other stations in South West are 24x7 Auxiliary Crewed.

Station Numbers are listed in the first post.

For radio codes, you would put a 3 (for region 3) in front.

So Station 32 would use the call sign 332 ?? Obviously the ? would be the pump classification.

No Stanthorpe is a Auxiliary station, no permanents there.

Warwick and Stanthorpe were fully Permanent staffed until a few years ago, when the Brisbane hierarchy decided to downgrade the stations to full Auxiliary in a move to cut costs. After widespread outcry from Warwick residents, they back-pedalled and Warwick got the present Perm / Aux arrangement, but Stanthorpe still missed out.

Having said that, it is not uncommon to hear 325 Alpha doing 'road tests' during the day.

You are right there. Stanthorpe do have a lot of either unemployed or semi retired staff, who hang around the station, unpaid of course, doing different stuff, waiting for the bells.

Same can be said for the likes of Meandarra and other Brigades, not just in Region 3 either.

There is now a Station 18 in Area 1.

It is at Charlton, on the Warrego Highway, west of Toowoomba.

Has at least an Alpha, a Bravo, and a Lima.
