What first aid company is using this???

Hi Folks,

I was doing some scanning (obviously!) and came across this 419.962.50. I am located in an elevated position in NNW Brisbane and am thinking it could be to do with the EKKA in BrisVegas. It carries first aid traffic and has selcal etc.. I am thinking this is too sophisticated to be St John Ambulance (and it is not a frequency i have heard them on before ie 509.550). Does anyone know what organisation this is or is it St John but just using the shows allocated set of comms.

It is St John off Mount Coot-tha.

Believe it or not 419.9625 is actually St Johns Ambulance off Mount Coot-Tha
Licence 1913260 - 50 watts - been active since June 2009

Thanks Terry for a very prompt response. Funny that my UBC355XLT picked this up on its pre programmed "Fire" setting. Unlikely i would have found it otherwise as i have never looked for St John in the trunked band.

I am in Sydney so i would be very suprised to hear that (though I have heard the Brisbane ATIS on LF a couple of times making the 800km trip on a seabreeze inversion down the coast)
No i used the ACMA database to inquire about it.
