Review - FSK Splitter (For PDW)

Post by NightFlight »

Hi All,

Have just recieved my new FSK interface for PDW decoding from scannersplitterguy http://www.scannerantennasplitter.com
It has made a vast difference to both the amount and quality of messages recieved, with virtually 100% success rate :D

Previously I was getting garbled messages, particularly on 512 baud, and finding the correct settings for volume etc was very fiddly and time consuming.
Setup was a breeze, simply intalled the slicer driver from the PDW program, then adjusted a couple of settings and it was away! The device is very well made with quality materials.

One of these are a must if you like PDW! :D

Cheers,
Nightflight.

Thanks for the great review ! Do you need the disc tap mod aswell or will it work just as well without it ?

Sorry, Scrawn...not true for my cables.
The decoder cable will only work plugged straight into a serial port.
