Was asked today Which is better Oricom or Icom. I always thought they were the same..

I LOVE AOR scanners, but cant afford the newer ones LOL. So Uniden is it.

No Oricom is an Australian based company and have only recently ventured into cb. Icom have been around for years and honestly I would prefer a icom over a Oricom. Although I have heard some good this about Oricom

only problem with the Icoms is the nonstandard assignment of CTSS frequencies.

I assume you mean CTCSS ?
