But just a basic question please.

What does ACK/AHY/ALH/BCAST/SAM mean please?
And which if any is the better to click in filters please.

This is a sample of my display. How do i tell the ID of the caller ?

Check them all, except CCSC, and ALH (by itself - NOT the rest of the ALH's), and particularly if monitoring Telstra Fleetcoms, uncheck BCAST Call Maint Parameters, and BCAST Registration Parameters.

Recommend you download the MPT1327 Standard (290 pages), and the MPT1343 Specification (230 pages).

Org: is the Ident of the unit Originating the Call
Tar: is the Ident of the unit being Called (Targeted).

The Address of a unit, is the Prefix (the 3-digit number in brackets) plus the Ident (the Org: or the Tar:).

All the top 4 sets of numbers change per caller AND the ORG changes per caller

The above is a Binary Dump, which is only required for Fault Finding, so you can switch it OFF.

The first line is just the Hexadecimal representation of the Binary in the second line.
