Hello,
Military airband (200-400 or so Mhz UHF). Is this AM or FM?

Both Aeronautical Bands (Civilian and Military) are AM, however, the Military also use FM in the 380 - 400 MHz section.

In America, some Bases have extensive Trunked Radio systems in this section, although that hasn't occured in Australia, yet.
