ACMA Band Plans

A number of documents, of interest to scanner users, can be downloaded from the ACMA website.

They include Frequency Band-plans for:-

VHF Mid Band (70 to 87.5 MHz)

VHF High Band (148 to 174 Mhz)

400 MHz Band (403 to 420 Mhz and 450 to 520 MHz)

These documents show allocation and channeling arrangements, including Repeater pairs, in Tables, and graphical form.

Another document of interest, is the Radio Assignment and Licencing Instruction (RALI) LM8 - Frequency Assignment Requirements for the Land Mobile Service, which lists the frequencies, and channeling, most likely to be used for Trunked Radio systems. It can be downloaded in PDF format here
