Post by fire_rescue »

G'day
http://brisuhf.freeforums.org/
have started a site with some of theguys on ch5 emergency team who monitor BNE05 at ocean view. Due to the amount of activity on uhf these days and current issues with acma and future usage of CBRS service, we have a started a forum for brisbane and surrounding areas serious group on UHF usage from repeaters to normal usage, some of the guys on the site talk laiase with acma and ACREM on a regular basis, curennt issues at the moment are acma looking into expanding the uhf band due to heavy usage on all 40 channels to another 40 making it 80, and the new gold coast ch08 repeater interfering with brisbane ch8 ocean view aparrently its experimental the gold coast one. anyways there some issues feel free to join

goldcoast ch8 is run by gcars up on springbrook (nrtv site) VNR-08. ch 8 use to be ch7 SOU-07 at southport but they had some problems with it or something and took it down. gcars have the licence for both down there. they started them becaude VHU-04 and ABC-03 are hardly ever running well thats my guess

radiorampage is where i got this info
it is the gold coast uhf scene they use the radio or the website
