Post by Rickie3 »

Hi i'm looking to purchase UNIDEN UBCD396XT DIGITAL SCANNER, I live in Tassi and want to trunk EDACS police freqs, I want to know is this scanner capable of taking the below freqs?
LCN1 - 865.5125
LCN2 - 866.5125
LCN3 - 867.5125
LCN4 - 868.5125
LCN5 - 869.5125
=========================================================
The last scanner I had which came from the states wouldnt allow me to enter the freq LCN5 - 869.5125, but could enter the first 4, basically hopeless for my needs, this is the radio i'm looking to purchase http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/UNIDEN-UBCD3 ... 43b2952c79
I would appreciate your advise :)

The American models only go up 868.9875 MHz, whereas the Australian models go up to 869.9875 MHz, so the UBCD396XT will suit your purpose, as long as the EDACS frequencies are not encrypted.
