This is a problem with forums such as this, although this one isn't so bad. People think that everyone has been a member for ages, has read every post and remembers them. There is another site that is so bad at this that people don't want to be involved, and it shows in their number of posts. Remember, not everyone is an old hand at the site, and many may have a darned site more info than the old hands!

OK I'll stick my oar in here. Whether or not it is common knowledge is irrelevant, especially to members like myself who are not employed or have never been previously employed in QFRS.

I may have missed it, but there doesn't appear to anything in this list relevant to frequencies, radio channel allocations or any other item that may be connected with scanning radios or may be of interest to non-fireservice personnel. I guess I'll be 'shot down' again as many of you here will find the link to be totally absorbing.

I still wonder why it has been posted on a forum entitled 'AUSSIE SCANNERS' :?

Airman, you are correct. It should've been in the forum 'Everything Else'. It is of interest to some people however completely unrelated to scanning hence the reason it should've been in that particular forum and seeing as I'm only got forum access on my iPhone, I don't have the ability to move it.
