The Number Plates look interesting. Looks like the Federal Government may now be paying State registration fees.

The Sydney ACMA office have the NSW yellow plates, but with the Red Z. Just like the VIC plates in the above photos.

Federal Government vehicles used to have 'C of A' plates which started with a Red Z. For example the Royal Australian Navy had ZNA-xxx where 'xxx' was a three-digit number.
