Hey also this one is way out of the normal operating area. this one probably has a different base frequencyComint wrote: Base Frequency - 165.1875

Yes. Still trying to nut that one out. Not often in a position to monitor it.brisbanescan wrote:Hey also this one is way out of the normal operating area. this one probably has a different base frequencyComint wrote: Base Frequency - 165.1875

Not quite true, although I suppose it depends on what one calls a Custom Band Plan.brisbanescan wrote: UHF
Brisbane Airport - QANTAS - Does Require Custom Band Plan
464.3250000 MHz
465.6250000 MHz
465.9500000 MHz
466.1750000 MHz
466.5250000 MHz
As has been mentioned before on these Forums, TrunkView is ONLY for MPT1327. QANTAS is Motorola Smartnet.bodyguard wrote:hmm ok if I was to add say the QANTAS trunking to trunkview, how would I actually do it
I have trunkview up & running, just dont know the basic steps of doing it
ah my bad I thought it was MPT1327Comint wrote:As has been mentioned before on these Forums, TrunkView is ONLY for MPT1327. QANTAS is Motorola Smartnet.bodyguard wrote:hmm ok if I was to add say the QANTAS trunking to trunkview, how would I actually do it

Thanks Phil. Are the freqs in ascending LCN order? Alexbrisbanescan wrote:a LTR System has been added
As Phil pointed out, the Channel Numbers and Home Channels are unknown at this time.Doogs38 wrote:Thanks Phil. Are the freqs in ascending LCN order? Alexbrisbanescan wrote:a LTR System has been added
Legacy Motorola Type 2 systems can have up to four frequencies, which are used in rotation for the Control Channel. Usually one frequency is used for a 24 period, then the CC changes to the next frequency, and so on.Doogs38 wrote:What a great thread! If someone has the info, would they please indicate the CCs for the Mot Type 2 systems. I have found some CC info spread through other disparate threads (Mt Coot-tha and QANTAS UHF stuff) however this appears like the best place to collate that info. Thanks. Alex
Basically all the frequencies are at the top of this list. There is NO Motorola Smartnet in the Sunshine Coast area. But I have certainly monitored Mt Coot-tha, Bulwer Island and Pinkenba from the Montville area.Scannersplitterguy wrote:Hi guys,
I just found the Trunking Tutorial today (thanks Shane & Phillip!)
I have a T9 and no idea where to start, until now.
The frequencies shown in the tutorial are for Mt Coot-tha. I entered them into the T9 but (as I expected) I hear nothing
up here on the Sunshine Coast.
I have heard random trunking freq's when I have the 73xlt (in the car) set to close call. Usually a one-sided conversation with a unique-sounding digital screech at the end of the transmission.
Does anyone know any Sunshine Coast frequencies?
