Wanted Base Scanner

Hi All,
Im new to scanning and need to buy a base scanner.I'm on the Darling Downs near Dalby,so I don't know what I may or maynot be able to receive.Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks Rusti

Yeah I can highly reccomend the T9. Very reliable.

on Ebay, quite a great scanner, Alpha Tag, but not computer controlled. I had one for 3 years great scanner.
would expect to pay up to $160 for one of these.
or another one as buy now, put it would appear to be pick up only.

Rusti,
I was in Toowoomba last week and saw a UBCT9 on special at Dick Smiths Store in Grand Central shopping centre.
The price was $299 (Managers Special)
This is brand new with full warranty.
One of the best deals I have seen in recent times.

I use a UBC9000xlt here at home and am very happy with it. There is no trunking up here or digital so no need to get too carried away with what you buy.
