These frequencies are part of the Victoria Statewide Mobile Radio (SMR) network, which is MPT1327 Trunked Radio.frequincys are

Old thread I know however just to let you know this would've been the Sheriff's.
They previously used the VHF SMR system for their rural operation and UHF 490MHZ allocation for metro operations, however a little while ago they moved all their ops over to SMR. The 490MHz allocation still have a few low power frequencies licenced to them however we suspect this might be for ANPR operations or UHF portables to VHF SMR re-boradcast or similar.
