well guys/gals the time has come, sometime this week I will be closing down the site.
Thanks to everybody who has helped me out with things over the last 6 months.
But not all lost, I will set it up in 2-4 weeks depending on the ISP as I am moving to Petrie, where I will focus on the services in that area, guess I will call it Petrie Scan
Also I am hoping to be able to access Mt Coot-tha's repeaters as well as trying out AIS
thats the heads up from here, incase you wonder where it has gone, on that cold wet morning with nothing to read, or see that ambo shoot past & wonder where it is going
cheers
BG

Police are encrypted in that area....however you will still be able to recieve Redcliffe/Caboolture Districts...good luck with the move.

After 3 days of trying to get the paging working here, I have almost given up on bringing back the pager streams. Why it doesn't I have no idea.
I am thinking that its the aerial location (indoors) which is hampering the signal quite a bit.
Though I am only a short distance to the water tower in Petrie, which I assume has the pager repeaters on it.
When it fines up a bit here, I will try putting the aerial outside & see what results I get
Thats the update from BG in the big smoke

ok guys another update, looks like I might cut a small hole in the window mesh to bring in my cable.
Hopefully that might help, when I had the aerial outside last night, it was pulling everything in
lets hope

hmm police seems to be DBay area, I think the police here are encrypted. Havent tried the rail as of yet,
Just waiting on the wife to go out, to cut the mesh

Yeah it was a bad time for the pagers to go down, with Brisbane declared a natural disaster area.
And about 20, maybe more, Rural appliances paged out to SES IMT in Newmarket and Arana Hills

police would be interesting to know whether Redcliffe or Brisbane, rail fair bit there the station there at petrie is a junction station and operates 24 hour, should pick up staff and security movement at night on there radios, also petrie is home to police rail squad aswell
