No they are American versions but they work here, uniden probably won't be bringing them out here anytime soon.

Uniden Aus stopped selling the 996T around 2008/2009, however they do come up on the second hand market every now and again. The only digital scanner Uniden Aus now sell is the handheld UBCD396XT.
