Gday, any of you still monitor UHF CB 5/35?

I have this scanning but never really hear it active much...

If you don't hear much on 5 or 35 that's awesome. Are you near a city or further out where it's usually quieter?

In a city of 60,000 people, only comms I hear on it are general users and not "emergencies"...

Which city are you in? I can spread awareness in your area, then let me know any difference. Also I may be able to see if there's monitors in your area.

5/35 can be kept in check even in the city but only with quit a bit of work. Kept fairly good here in Perth (compared to other cities) but takes a few hardworking volunteers for that.

It is important to keep clear even in the city. We still do get the odd full-blown emergency call come through.
