UBC398T Reviews?
So I've been poking around various websites for a UBC398T digital scanner, does anyone here own one and if so what are your thoughts on this? How well do they perform? Money well spent?

Re: UBC398T Reviews?
I assume you mean the UBCD396T? It was in its time an okay scanner. The UBCD396XT was better. Both are now a bit old and longer supported by Uniden Australia.
Depending on where you live (state) it maybe handy for general listening like the airband and marine band, as well as UHFCB. In South Australia it will trunk the SA Government Radio Network (SAGRN). Any other state it would not be of much use beyond the general services mentioned previously.
Accordingly, no it would not be money well spent. The UBCD436PT would be a better option.
