Hi All,
I live in the north west coast and would like to hear recommendations for a scanner that would cover fire, SES and maybe police. Handheld or desktop all suitable.
Have been out of scanning for a number of years and there is just so many options to choose from - bit confusing.
Cheers,
Mike

Mike,
Unfortunately you wont be able to police for long if not already as they are migrating to the TASGRN which is an encrypted network.
you could have a look around for the following Uniden Scanners
USDS100
UBCD536PT
UBCD436PT

Re: Suitable Equipment
Hey.
Some bad news
Fire = TASGRN Encrypted
Police = TASGRN Encrypted
SES = TASGRN Maybe partly encrypted.
