UBCD436PT DMR (at last!)

Post by CrazyCessna »

Hey all,

Not sure if you guys are already onto it but it looks like Uniden Australia are finally aboard giving us the long awaited DMR/NXDN/ProVoice upgrade! Big excitement on my end!

Update: While the new Sentinel software is available to upgrade the scanner firmware, it appears as though the purchase page for the upgrades is currently down.

Been discussed in another thread.

The original link provided was a test page which permitted Uniden Australia to test processes whilst providing a lucky few an opportunity to upgrade early.

The new page will be available at a later date.

And I was one of the lucky few - and loving it - it is a steep learning curve - especially with LCN's and rediscovering previously lost users who migrated from Analogue.

Bit of a change from their usual web address.

Any clues as to what that is about?

They are the company that handles the credit card processing side of things.

When you're a web development company you often create a "test" or "staging" website for the company to check changes before they go live to the public.

Due to the site having "staging" in it, as well as being a subdomain off a software company - it probably wasn't there for public consumption.
