Website Offline

Post by Phil »

Hello All,

Firstly I would like to apologise for AussieScanners being offline, it is not something I ever like to see.

Yesterday morning 13th June 2018 at approxiamately 0440 our Hosting Provider detected some malicious harmful content on our website and revoked our permissions and essentially suspended our account until we resolved the matter, there online helpdesk ticketing system did not send us an email advising that one was created, i was not aware of the outage until this evening 14th June 2018 and have been working to have it resolved.

Again i would like to apologise for the outage and we are working with our hosting provider to increase the level of security on the forums to stop potential harmful content from being on our website, note that it was not detected in our forums but rather a sub folder of a past website that is still lurching in the shadows that i have yet to delete. Will be tonight.

Thank you for your continued support and i hope to bring you a more improved forums experience, whether that be through our existing platform or migrating to another forum platform with our current data.

Does that mean xenforo might be on the cards?
