QFES New UHF Channel Frequency Assignments

Post by comport1 »

So i see that there have been some new Freq Allocations for QFES for Regional areas outside of the GWN, and note that they are within the new HGS 198 Ch Bandplan, or also known as HGS Bandplan 6, with the 10Mhz Split.

So, this shows they will probably move away from the current bandplan to re-align into this HGS Segment, although most of their current frequencies do anyway...

Whats interesting to note is that they are using channels starting from ch 121 and every 4th channel up to ch 197, and if you have a look at the new QFES assignments, they are typically ending in 469.X125 & 469.X625. They fall in between QPS & SES allocations. I have posted about this in the QPS section of the forum. Also posted the spreadsheet screenshot below this list.

So, below, just for Reference, i have copied and pasted from the ACMA.

That’s great, thanks for that. Sounds like they are starting to slowly migrate over to the new frequencies....

Hi Comport,

I agree with your working out for channels 211 - 230, but where do the 468MHz channels come from at 231 - 240?

Hey Rooster

What do you mean, where do they come from? They are showing as new registration assignments/allocations on the ACMA, so there are a few registered now.

Are you still on the same email we used to communicate on??

Cheers

You don't need CTCSS Tones to Listen.

Thank you for your input comit. I am well aware of that. There are reasons other then to access the repeater that ctcss comes in useful. Such as phasing the squelch instead of that old crunch at the end of the transmission.

Hi Gents, This is a great start for for Central Coast.

Does anyone have a full Baseplan or even any updates for Far North & For Northern Regions?

Not having much luck at all.

Thank you.
