ICOM 400pro static sound

Hi guys. I have the icom 400pro with some custom banks made for police ect. Running the 80channel ICF file.

Lately whenever anyone talks over he 2 way after they finish talking I get a static sound goes for about 3 seconds it's getting annoying what is going on with it? Any ideas????

I dont know if it is similar to the Icom setup, but my Oricom UHF does the same thing. It is a setting where it opens the squelch for a designated amount of time after recieving a signal.

Did it change after you altered any settings?
