..new to radio scanning..answer may be obvious and simple..Q in the past the Orana, Castlereagh and Darling River police radio broadcasts could be listen to on Analogue Radio scanners (eg Uniden BC92 XLT, Uniden EZ130XLT) but they are no longer available and can not be picked up on Analogue radio scanners..why? is this because the Orana, Castlereagh and Darling River police radio broadcasts have changed over and are now Digital broadcasts?
If so, what are the Digital Radio Frequencies for the Orana, Castlereagh and Darling River police radio broadcasts in the Walgett, NSW region?
Thanks for reading and any assistance..ciao

The frequencies will more then likely be the same but in digital instead of analogue

Re: Orana, Castlereagh and Darling River Police Radio
They should be still coming through on VHF and UHF analog
There are future plans to convert to digital in the not too distant future
What frequencies were you listening to?
I am assuming you are talking about Quebec and Yankee Channels
Where are you located?

..not Quebec but yes Yankee channels..do not know what frequencies were listening to, just do search/scan on Analogue scanner..could even listen through the mobile Apps, Scanner Radio ands Tune in Radio but now says "Offline" and Unavailable..Radio Reference website lists Police UHF frequency for Yankee- Orana LAC-Dubbo; FRQ 468.77500..
