Crane Compamies
Welcome to the forum
Not bad for your first post....Maybe you could participate in the forum, at least introduce yourself, prior to seeking frequencies.
Why would you want such information? The least you could do is take your scanner down to the site and report back on these frequencies... Or look thru the frequency register and report your findings ... ?
Just a thought....

Do a search on the ACMA register with the name of the company. I would expect these to be ambulatory systems (low power portable simplex). You can also search for the name of the building contractor as well as they may use their radios.
Another thought is these maybe allocations through a communications company and not registered to the crane company.
Half the fun of scanning is figuring out a communications system and how it works.

Our company has been working on the VCCC site on the corner of Flemington Rd and Grattan St Melb and I can confirm that they are using encrypted digital Apco25 with several repeaters on each floor a;; the radio's have talk groups the crane operators have their own talk group.

Re: Crane Compamies
Thanks Guys, I have been taking my wonderful little Baofeng radio to work with me and have identified some frequencies, when I know exactly I will post.
The frequencies I have picked up are used by portables, communication dogman to crane operator. They do not normally use CB as it picks up too much other stuff.
The ones found so far have been in the 471.000 to 475.000 range, yet a search of the ACMA database does not give much detail. I can only assume that the frequencies are licensed under a name or parent company which does not tell me the crane company name. Also the state is an unknown as these crane companies could be licensed across australia.
But I'm certainly having fun listening in!
Thanks for the replys

Re: Crane Compamies
The frequencies you have found could also be either rental frequencies OR pirate frequencies there was a case last year when the ACMA busted a crane company using illegal frequencies.
