I previously posted about my Sangean ATS 909 which inexplicably died on me. Well today I was browsing through the operating instruction manual and saw that it had a tiny reset control in the base of the casing. To reset the microprocessor, one needed a glider clip wire to press into the tiny hole. So I gave it a go and guess what...YESSSSSS!!!!

Now its operating just fine. I'll have to find a decent SWL antenna (not a long wire) and I shall be monitoring DX globally!
It's a great unit and has tuning down to 1kHz which can resolve SSB transmissions. Other features include SW LW, MW and FM Stereo and RDS reception.
