Australia and NZ team up to build maritime satellite network

Hi all.

Looks like Aust is to get a new Maritime satellite network, not sure if they will carry any voice comms interesting considering the cost and that they will be next generation satellites and absolute leading edge technology that it will take them 10 minutes to receive a transmission from a beacon and then pass it on from there by then it could be all to late, done and dusted.
