Does anyone know, or know where I can find, all Frequencies and Callsigns for the Northern Region?
The Northern Region encompasses the Mt Isa District and Townsville District.
Much Appreciated!
The Mt Isa frequencies were only recently (since Christmas) posted on these forums.

Sorry, were on another Forum, but posted by a member from here.
468.975 MHz - general use, and 468.425 for Special Events.

Anyway, its only a matter of scanning through 128 frequencies in the 468 MHz Band, to find the frequencies in use..

The 128 channels have been around since about 2003, so I reckon the answer is NO.

From time to time RES may change the channels in order to improve coverage and reduce interference.
As of this year Eidsvold is changing from 126 to 127 (for example)

No doubt you are picking everything up on that one frequency because, to put in in simple terms, the same messages are broadcast over several different repeaters located in different areas. Check out the ACMA database. Make sure you input post codes from about 30 to 40 kilometres away.

The "interoperable channel" (still called Ch 34 from the old days of 64 channels, but which is now actually Ch 68 in the New Chan Plan) is only used in emergency situations where the Emergency Services (QAS, QFRS, QPS, SES etc.) need to talk to each other, although you may hear the Communications Centres doing radio checks at least once a month.

The "digital channel" is APCO 25 digital, and encrypted, and is usually reserved for Special Operations, such as drug busts, etc.

So, under normal circumstances, you shouldn't be hearing anthing on those frequencies.

Funnily enough they aren't always encrypted, and usually aren't used for drug jobs.

Which one.

468.475 isn't the frequency I was talking about.
