One of my 339s for some reason dosn't like either of my speaker mics. Both mics work on the other one and the programing cable works on both radios. What could it be causing this?
Cheers Dom.

Re: GP339 dosnt like the mic
Have found that mostly the pins on the accessory port are contaminated.
Give them a clean with an alcohol wipe to get rid of contaminants then a lead eraser if you have stubborn dirt etc.
You can then dab a very very small amount of CRC on a rag and give the whole accessory port a wipe over.
It's normally only one of the pins that may have some crap on it causing either the mic to not work, the ptt to not work, or the speaker to not work. Sometimes a combination of all that.
Don't overtighten the connector on that port either as the screw has a tendancy to break off in the hole.
