Taken at the South East/South West Firefighter Championships. Was used in the rural events

Thats our Baby!
Its now had the petrol pump replaced with a diesel.

It was gone before my time. i have only been there for 2 years
Apparently the Isuzu replaced it back in 07

sweet. congrats to col harch for AFSM medal too. good man to work with back in the day

He still is. Even though he is in his 70's he's still going strong. On the fireground he still runs rings arouond most of us younger members with his stamina & work ethic.
Even though ive been around for 15 years and know a fair bit about rural firefighting im greatful to go out on the fireground with Col because i know i can always learn someting from him.
He has my full respect

I only worked with col few jobs him and another bloke ivan wass who started hatton vale summerholm then Laidley north east. Both I respect and whenever buhses hill went up col was one side and ivan the other they knew how to tame fires on the hill. One place I always hated was lockyer waters terrible for fires due to bugger all places for water. I remember when minden range went we had crews from marburg prenzlau minden chasing all over . Did a few jobs with rossmutz aswell when ross was ad at gatton more respect there aswell .
