I am selling my discone which I have not used for some years and unlikely to where I am.
The vertical element is missing, but all other radials are there with fittings, together with the center part. It is a top quality item made of stainless steel by Diamond of Japan.
I am asking $60.

Not much if you're not using 2 metres. I have the holder for it, all you need is a cut length of 30 gauge gal wire for a replacement which would fit into the holder which has an Allen Key securing screw. I used this discone sans the vertical and it seems to work better without it on UHF. Many discones available on the market have just the two sets of radial elements in an umbrella shape array like this one.Stretch wrote:This is gonna sound real stupid, but what does the vertical element do?
