Re: Metropolitan Stations on UHF Radio Channels
I am confused, where did this information come from?
A handful of the stations listed were never on the old UHF analogue network, can't say I had ever heard the "station codes" mentioned on air so I am assuming these are used internally. Since the new network has came into affect it would appear that some stations have changed districts.
For those in the Metro area, you can no longer hear the police on the UHF band as they are DIG + ENC.

Re: Metropolitan Stations on UHF Radio Channels
interesting, even when I was Vic for a holiday back in 08.
THe police was digital and enc, fire was on the digital trunking network and the Ambos where about to move up into the digital trunking as well.
very interesting.
