Have you had a listen around? Sometimes they may be a little hard to find, but perseverance and patience is the key

Have you had a search thru the ACMA register? Same place you go to look up your callsign....
You can search by postcode and/or site which will help narrow down things for you to start searching

As stated above no active vhf for the coffs/clarence area. But there is a couple 78 mhz vhf channels listed, one at maclean and one at nambucca heads. These would be the liason channels for the rescue choppers, these are linked to channel Quebec at vkg tamworth. Not sure how long they will around for as they are currently working on upgrading channel Q to uhf digital. Still plenty of vhf left but its all in the north west and central west of nsw.

Certainly won't find any Police channels active on North or mid north coast .
