Port Stephens - Lake Macquarie RFS Frequencies

Post by Brazoo »

Hi there.
I have been searching for the Lake Macquarie 'Lakes', Port Stephens / Tilligerry Rfs frequencies and can't seem to find them?
I have Great Lakes digital frequencies but am still searching for the others.
Any help would be great. I'm using a Uniden Bcd325P2.

Lakes RFS and Lower Hunter RFS (Port stephens) are on the GRN.

Great Lakes are still on the old PMR.

Hi Newy1234 thanks for that.
Im trying to figure out the trick to programming the 325P2 for the GRN.
Do I just enter Talk Group ID's or something? It all seems too bloody hard to get my head around.

I would also recommend investing in some programming software. I find the Butel products are good. Whatever you choose it is so much easier to program modern scanners with a computer than it is doing it by hand.

I have typed in some TG ID's (example Hunter Water 21001, 21002) and can see the signal meter picking up something but no audio.
Im just about to throw the bloody thing in the bin, but will check those links supplied first. Thanks again.

Have you set up a system for GRN? Control channel only is the easiest.

Yes Air I have. I managed (finally) to download FreeSCAN, updated the BCD Driver for the scanner and uploaded the GRN Database from ScanRadio NSW.
I took a stab in the dark and programmed in some APCO Bandplans to get some of the TGIDs to open up.
Seems to be half working now anyway.
Thanks so much for your help.
