Stuff to scan

Hi all,
Im in the Fairfield area. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any good frequenies to listen to. All im listening to a t the moment is VK2RHP ameteur repeater and the State Transit Authority, and im kinda getting bored listening to the same thing ovef and over!

I looked at your other post and with that radio, that's about all you can listen to. If you had a digital scanner you could listen to the NSW GRN.

Yeah if I had a digital scanner I could. But unfortunately I dont. Ive been on the ACMA website and found local companies frequencies and I sometimes I can hear them. Really I can only listen to local comapnies and UHF ch 15 (Local Tip)
Anyways thanks for the reply. Its good to know there are other young people I can relate to on this forum!
