I don't use Proscan, and your message doesn't indicate what scanner you use, but you some good sources for the info you requested (especially if you decide to program by hand) are as follows:

Hello again my scanner is uniden ubcd396xt is there anyway at all to hear encrypted radio as I have googled it and there. Is crypto boards in scanners apparently. Does this work. Or does anyone know if there is going to be a scanner released that can do encryption. And one other thing can anyone advise if my firmware is up to date version 1.02.03 thanks in advance
