Hi all, I am a newbie to the forum, but not to scanning - have done it for many years mostly in NSW, but am now located in Brisbane. Am I correct in assuming that there is nothing I can listen to for QPS now in the greater Brisbane area? It's all encrypted?
What can I listen to with a 'you beaut' APCO25 top end type scanner these days?
One last thing - all the NSW Police cars are marked with station or LAC origin/location on the roof, boot and bonnet (excepting some HWP cars). QPS vehicles seem to have no number or station markings whatsoever?
Cheers.

Can any QPS frequencies be scanned?

Welcome to the forum.
As for the greater Brisbane areas, typically all services have migrated to the GWN so cannot be monitored (as of today).
