Post by vk2faho »

Hello ... :-)

i Live in South Grafton , what is in the state of NSW. and I've' stumbled across a frequency what may be well known to you people its 469.3000mhz ( VKR Dispatch) im not sure as all the callsigns + unit numbers + locations are unrecognised to me

VKR to Toowoomba Station , and Warwick station and a few others that I have never heard of before

what area of Queensland is this for ?

I thought all police channles were p25 digital stage 1 encrypted

469.300 is assigned to various areas. Police and emergency services are only using the GWN in south east Queensland. Elsewhere, they are analogue and on the old frequencies.

It is possibly the Qld Police Site on Mt Mckenzie, near Tenterfield, which covers south of Stanthorpe to the NSW/Qld border.
