Uhf weather alerts

Hi all and thank you for the get info. Just wondering if there is a uhf frequency I can program in for the weather in the Burdekin area in north qld cheers

If you're talking about whether radio, I think that's only in the US.

Nothing on UHF But there is VHF & HF radio
VHF information

I remember that there was a repeater in Wagga Wagga that done UHF alerts on 30cm.

I believe that there is only one UHF weather amateur radio repeater.

I saw this when it was first posted. Today, I discover that UHF CB Channel 30 is to be used as an early warning system. Have a look at this link ...

We do 30 here at Goodna give locals update when they call up

Do you just do a general broadcast of the BOM warnings, or only when someone calls in? Or both? Whatever, a serious, "good on you". Maybe this could be implemented more broadly, especially around SE Queensland during the storm season, possibly even using repeaters. I'm sure the management and moderators of this site would chip in some cash! Nah, just kidding guys, about management that is, not the rest. Just wanted to hear them faint!!!

I suppose this could be an automated system as well?
I am not sure of the legalities surrounding UBF CBRS and connecting/interfacing with a computer?

That sure is some dedication for those on CH30!

thanks all.. I'm up near Townsville North qld.. just weather alerts for like storms and cyclones ect... I'm using a whistler ws1010 scanner. as my uniden got droped in a pool.. not happy jan.... thankyou for you help:)
